When it comes to articulation, we tend to lean towards TBLeague aka Phicen seamless flexible bodies. Even with custom clothing articulation is far better. Twist and bend at the hips on most Hot Toys action figures is restricted.
Early versions of Hot Toys bodies, such as those used for Wolverine, are very loose ball joint bodies. Head Sculpt joints seem to vary from full next(fixed head) to ball joint mounted head to neck. TBLeague is a ball joint attached configuration.
Both tend to make female and male bodies to scale but of different sizes. That is to say the female bodies tend to be smaller in scale. There are some, such as the Wonder Woman action figures which is much bigger than say the Black Widow.
When filming or photographing these action figures, the range of dynamic poses we feel is greater with TBLeague.
